Watering: it is best to use UV disinfected water. Watering is mostly done by ebb and flood. Temperature of the water must be at least 17 °C. During propagation measure the pH frequently. If the pH is getting too high (8 - 9) then it may be necessary to irrigate earlier to control this.
Nutrition: target EC around 3.3 and pH 5.2. Towards the end of the propagation of peppers rise up to 4 EC to create strong cells within the plant.
Temperature strategy is around 20 – 22 °C.
Humidity approximately: 70%.
CO2 - 650-700 ppm.
Screens: open any energy screens as much as possible to keep an active climate. Make sure that the screens are linked to outside temperature so that they only close when necessary.
Additional lighting: light for 12 hours a day (approx.) at 3000 lux. Lights should go off one hour before sunset.
