WC drop between waterings

Within the watering strategy there should be a target water content for the day which will vary with the stage of the crop as shown in the Season Dynamics table.

The drop in the water content between individual waterings:

• allows oxgen back into the slab;
• is a generative action.

So this is important in poor light:

• at the beginning of the crop to steer the plant in a more generative way;
• at the end of the crop in decreasing light to get as much O2 to a slab full of roots and in decreasing day length.
