Watering: after a few days the tops of the cubes will start to go green with algae. This is normal and confirms that the pH is correct.
Nutrition: aim for an EC level of at least 3 to 4, pH 5.2 to 5.5.
If the humidity is too low after initial spacing then misting or wetting the concrete floor can help raise the humidity and help the plant establish.
Humidity: to get a generative plant it should not be too humid. Control humidity to target levels using heat and ventilation.
CO2: 600 - 800 ppm.
Screens: use screens to control and activate the climate.
Tips: plants of more than 30 days will need the support of a cane.
When the substrate water content is low, the frequency of irrigation needs to be higher. Every watering is a vegetative action on the plant so can be used to control the plant balance.
Depending on the type of plant, delivery is normally 40 to 50 days after sowing.
Extended propagations go up to 60 / 65 days, depending on customer demands.
Additional lighting: make sure that the floors are dry by the end of the afternoon, which means no watering after a certain time. Also set the lighting to activate the climate until the end of the afternoon, mostly done with 6000 lux.
