Short Day Planting - Target levels based on planting in the winter in Europe or similar latitudes with a day length of 12 hours or less, low light levels and low outside temperatures - These are vegetative conditions so the objective at the beginning is to steer generative.
Long Day Planting - Target levels based on planting in the spring or summer with day lengths of 12 hrs + with higher light levels and higher outside temperatures - in these conditions control over the crop balance can be more difficult. More info on this will be added soon.
